Time-saving Features of QuickBooks Enterprise 2020
Express Pick and Pack
The purpose of this enhanced feature is to allow flexibility and save time by consolidating the picker/packer roles, actions, and approvals. This saves time by streamlining the order fulfillment process.
Landed Cost
This new feature for 2020 provides greater visibility into actual product costs by factoring in freight, duties, insurance and other miscellaneous costs by quantity, value, weight or volume. The benefits of this include: easily identifying true product costs to make better profit, pricing and sales decisions and asset valuations; and reducing the time, money, and errors associated with manual landed costs workarounds. With the landed cost enhancements, now users will be able to calculate Landed Costs for closed accounting periods without making any transactional changes to the closed books.
Alternate Vendors
An enhanced feature for 2020, alternate vendors allows for a centralized information center containing vendor contact and pricing data. The benefits of alternate vendors are as follows:
- Increase visibility into vendor contact, item and pricing information
- Save time by quickly importing vendor price lists
- Easily create purchase orders with vendor information automatically included
QuickBooks Enterprise Platinum Diamond Package
The QuickBooks Enterprise Platinum Diamond package comes with Assisted Payroll and Tsheets, and the ability to have up to 40 users (increased from 30 maximum for other versions). Users of existing Enhanced or Assisted payroll purchased outside of the Diamond package will have an option to upgrade to Assisted Payroll (from Enhanced) and convert their paid Assisted Payroll.
Office 2019 Support
QuickBooks Desktop 2020 is now compatible with Microsoft Office 2019.
Previewing PDF Attachments in E-mails
Users will now be able to see a preview of the PDF document they attach to an email. This is a handy time-saver when reviewing which documents to send.
